The Beanie

Designed and knitted in the Kingdom of Sweden for maximum comfort and freedom.

Under the hood

• 100% amazing long-fibre Merino wool from South America. The extra fine fibres are combed (not carded) in the same direction for maximum length and strength.
• Mulesing free Merino wool from happy sheep in South America.
• 2 plies spun yarn. The yarn consists of two threads that are carefully spun together to tuck the ends in and create a perfectly smooth yarn.
• 10 gauge, woven with 10 needles per inch.

• The extremely fine fibres bend far more than traditional, coarser wool fibres, which makes The Beanie soft and luxuriously gentle against your skin.

• Warm and cool. Merino wool naturally reacts to your body temperature, keeping you warm when it’s cold, and cool when it’s hot out there.

• Excellent breathing qualities. You sweat, The Beanie breathes.

• Static resistant.

• No odour. No stains. Natural self-cleaning properties.

One colour rules them all

Our magnificent black. Black, the colour of all colours, the colour that is always right. If you ask the scientists, they’ll say black is not a colour. White reflects light and so is a presence of all colours. Black absorbs light, so black is the absence of colour. But we know you know black is THE colour, the colour of power and coolness, the colour that you never tire of wearing, the colour that matches all other colours, the colour of all colours.

Fits just right, never too tight

• The Beanie comes in one size fits all.
• The natural elasticity of the merino means the weave will stretch with you, yet also return to its original shape.
• Total height is 27 cm
• Total height with turn-up is 20 cm

About the garment production in Borås

Borås is a small town in the south of Sweden where the Swedish textile industry was once born and where men and women still sew every stitch with expertise and affection. By placing our production here in Sweden, we benefit from the high-quality textile competence of these tailors and seamstresses and pay them fair union-agreed wages they can live off. Where else could we possibly create products with more love than here?

How to love your Beanie

• Merino wool has natural self-cleaning properties, hang it to air and you’re good to go.
• If you still need to wash your Beanie, use delicate detergent, hand wash or machine wash on the wool program.
• Never use softeners as it will damage the performance of the fabric.
• Dry The Beanie on a flat surface, do not tumble dry as it will shrink the garment.
• You can actually love your Beanie to death. Let it rest a day or two, now and then. It will prolong its life span and your relationship considerably!

The Square

It all started with a few lines on a whiteboard. ”What is it? I have no idea, but I really like it. Should we print it? No, no, no! We want it stitched!” And that’s when we started sewing by hand, tons and tons of squares.

One year of struggling, with hundreds of tests and two machines later – we finally had the perfect Square! The square is sewn with four lines with 90-degree turns, each line is 42 mm long and consists of 7 separate stitches. We make The Square yellow, like the yellow of the Swedish flag.

We then needed a canvas. The first was The Pants. Now, we’ve stitched it on The Beanie.
